Take time to smell the roses!

I have heard people say that we all need to stop and "Take time to smell the roses!"
Well, what does that mean to you and me today? Perhaps we need to take time out from the business of life to appreciate what we have, especially when so much of what we thought was so important has slipped away or has been taken away. When you find that you are among the "have not", instead of the "haves". It's time to reassess, and ask, "what do you have to have in life to really be happy?" When asked, "How much more money do you need to be happy?" J. Paul Getty responded, "Just one dollar more!" Take a long look at your self as we approach the Holidays, when so many people focus on what they don't have, and ask yourself, "what is really important in life?" Take time to count your blessings and name them one by one and "Take time to smell the roses!" You maybe surprised to see that you already have ALL you need to be truly happy.
Here is hoping that you find what's most important is in what you have, not in what you don't possess. ~ Get Refreshed
