I have lost some really good friends over the last few years, each leaving their foot prints for me to follow. With the death of friends and family, it puts "YOUR" life in a new prospective. I have taken a long look at what has been important. I loved elementary school, H.S., college and grad school. It seems some of my best days were spent in school and with great friends I met and interfaced with over the years, thank you all!!
I really enjoyed being a Disc Jokey and working in radio, "Those were the Days My friends".
The best days however, are reserved for my kids! My boys and my lovely daughter have brought the most joy to my life; "they put color to the black and white pallet of my life!",( DR 2009) ...And a special thank you "shout -out" to the wife who put up with me for 35 years! WoW! What can I say, she's a Saint.
Life is to short to live with regrets, hold resentments, or worry about tomorrow, today has enough to worry about, right?
Take each day as a 'gift', that is why it is the present, and live each day to the fullest for your family, friends and yes your faith. Live your faith before others as to not be ashamed.
Remember, none of us is getting out of this Earth alive, so get yourself ready; I am. ~ David Rails.
